The Gather Inn - Brighton

Had basic quintuple room with single beds, even a bathroom plus all the basics. Always pleasant staff, smooth check-in and welcoming bar.

Our room with the fold out sofa was themed with comfortable beds. The staff were accommodating and the setting was brilliant and handy. Local fast food option Lumberjacks was 5 minutes walk away.

It has a welcoming bar and super-friendly stuff.

The units are decent sized, functional with 3 single beds. Plus, the location is excellent, minutes from a public park.

Consider asking for a room with a sea view. the sunset is stunning and adds a serene touch to your stay.

We enjoyed hanging out at the cosy sea-view bar, playing games and sipping drinks. Eating at the place was fun, too. Just a heads up, the parking situation can be tricky, so plan ahead. Highly recommend checking this spot out!

One downside was the food quality during our meal. The fish and chips were really disappointing. We mentioned it to the staff but didn't get any compensation, which left a bit of a sour note.

I appreciated the cute vibe of the staff and the convenient access to Hove Lagoon, just a short stroll away, perfect for leisurely walks. Plus, the nearby cafes offered lovely spots to relax after exploring the vibrant streets of Brighton.

I loved the cosy vibe and fine lagoon view. It made for a relaxing night. A good surprise was the unique Caribbean menu, especially the chicken burger.

The staff were really friendly and helpful, totally. The location is near the beach with nice views, and we even found free parking. Our room was clean and comfy. The breakfast was lovely! I liked that they let us leave our luggage before check-in too.

But the shower was kinda complicated to operate and the room got super warm at night with no proper ac. Its a bit of a trek to the pier from here, so not walkable.

The decor was charming and warm, while the staff provided attentive service was nice as a senior traveller.

More comfortable seating in common areas would be nice.

The gather inn has a great location near the sea. The staff were super friendly and really went the extra mile. We loved that our room was clean and comfy. Plus, the shared bathrooms were well-maintained. It's a lovely spot to unwind!

Nice place with good parking, but noisy guests ruined our sleep quality at night.

Our room was neat and cozy with a lovely balcony view of the lido. Fantastic to watch the watersports while sipping tea.

On the downside, it seemed like I was at a tap dance competition with all the stomping above me. And finding parking was like winning the lottery-rare!

The room features a decent size layout, providing ample space to move around. A notable highlight includes the view of Hove Lagoon, which offers a nice atmosphere.

Unfortunately, our room lacked essential touches such as a sufficient number of cups, and we encountered issues with an uncomfortable mattress, made sleeping less than ideal. The shower setup could also be awkward, and finding parking was a hassle. The advertised options didn't align with actual availability. The noise from other guests and neighboring rooms disrupted the quiet ambiance we hoped for.
